All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth

Here’s Sydney sporting her new glasses and toothless smile!

They just look happy and innocent…
It’s hard to smile while you’re eating carrots.
“What can I do to bother Sydney today?”
Somehow it’s not as cute as watching a baby sleep…

Here’s our week in a bullet list:

  • Peter got his new suits that we ordered and they look nice (well, one of the pairs of suit pants were hemmed too short so we have to take it back to get it fixed). Peter was the most handsome guy at church today in his charcoal colored suit (that was easy for him because he is ALWAYS the most handsome guy at church)!
  • Isaac has finally learned how to write the letter ‘S.’ Now he can write his whole name!
  • Sydney finished her science project (phew, what a relief). For her project we bought some white carnations and put them in jars of water with varying amounts of blue food dye.  Her hypothesis was that she thought the jar with the most food coloring would change the color of the petals the most. And she was….correct! The entire petal did not change, but small veins in the petals did become blue over a couple of days.
  • I am glad the science project is over. I didn’t mind helping Sydney with it, but her teacher (who has been teaching for 10+ years) did not fully explain the process or what exactly was required until the night before it was due.
  • I have been busy with lots of little errands and projects and have not had much time to read. Oh well, at least I have eternity.

That’s all I could think of folks…
